One my favorite things to do is to take complicated scientific principles and break them down into projects that are simple, understandable, fun and interactive for a variety of age groups.
Science demonstrations are free for schools and nonprofits but donations are very much appreciated and go to fund future projects!
Here are some of the instances when I ventured outside of my university campus and into various classrooms in the Buffalo community.
- National Grid/UB Engineering Leadership Camp – Summer 2014
- The Cotton Candy Machine with Ms. Schneekloth’s 2nd Grade
- The Forensics Lab – 2013 National Grid Engineering Leadership Camp
